Rose of Pinot Noir 2015
Similar in comparison to Oregon’s 2014 vintage, 2015 was an extraordinary almost ideal growing season. Warm weather in the winter and spring, consistently hot summer days, with light showers in August, all contributed to high yields, good sugars, and adequate acids. Wineries described the fruit as pristine with minimal signs of disease, pest or bird effects. Our third harvest used in our own wines, it was our highest yielding year, around 17 tons of grapes, but beyond that, the quality has given hopes for another excellent vintage.
