Just south of Salem Oregon facing southwest, looking toward the Coast Range.  The elevation gives consistent evening summer breezes coming from the west.  The upper vineyard seems to have warm spring temperatures.

State soil maps list two soils in our vineyards, Steiwer and Chehulpum Silt Loams.  The soil is quite fertile with about 3 feet of top soil before finding sedimentary soils with plant and shell fossils.  The lower vineyard has some harder rocky areas that should be interesting for the Chardonnay clones.
